ControlTheory at KubeCon NA 2026: Dstl8 Demos and Prompt Wars

Salt Lake City, Utah — ControlTheory will be at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026, November 9–12 at the Salt Palace Convention Center, as a Gold sponsor. Visit Booth 188 in Hall 1 of the Solutions Showcase to see live demos of Dstl8, the runtime feedback loop for AI-speed engineering, and to play Prompt Wars, an AI bot game that runs only at the show.

KubeCon is the first major show since ControlTheory announced the general availability of Dstl8 on September 22. Dstl8 reads every line of runtime telemetry, finds root cause across the deployment chain, and sends the diagnosis to the AI coding agent or engineer who shipped the change.

Observability without feedback is just watching.

Where and when to find us

  • Event: KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026
  • Booth: 188, Hall 1, Solutions Showcase
  • Venue: Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Expo hall hours (MT): Tuesday, November 10, 10:45 AM – 5:15 PM; Wednesday, November 11, 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Thursday, November 12, 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Monday, November 9 is co-located events only.

What you’ll see at Booth 188

The booth demo walks through the full Dstl8 loop on live Kubernetes telemetry:

  • Distill: read the content of every log line across sentiment, patterns, anomalies and severity, at the source.
  • Correlate: trace root cause across the deployment chain and tie it to the deploy that caused it.
  • Reason: deliver diagnoses with cited evidence over MCP to Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
  • Remember: build a knowledge graph of past incidents and fixes.

One early enterprise fintech customer ran Dstl8 across 13 Kubernetes clusters for two months and surfaced and resolved 328 incidents, without writing a single alert rule.

We’ll also be showing Gonzo, our MIT-licensed open source terminal UI for real-time log analysis, which has passed 2,700 GitHub stars. Try it now with brew install gonzo.

Play Prompt Wars, only at KubeCon

Prompt Wars is a live game that runs at our booth for the length of the show. Write a prompt and set your AI bot loose in a world of rival bots, where it persuades, recruits and backstabs its way up the leaderboard. You can come back to the booth any time to tune your strategy. The top players win prizes including an Apple Mac mini and a Raspberry Pi 500+, awarded in person at Booth 188.

New in Dstl8 since launch

The team has kept shipping since general availability. Highlights from the Dstl8 release notes:

  • Code Graph (beta): links log patterns to the code and deploys behind them. It runs in your own CI and sends only paths, symbol names and log format strings, never file contents. A public GitHub Action, control-theory/dstl8-codegraph-action@v1, makes setup straightforward.
  • New MCP tools: code_for_pattern, code_changes, code_impact and others let Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients go from an error straight to the code that logs it.
  • Incident analysis and Memory: confirmed incidents include ranked hypotheses, a timeline and blast radius, and Möbius learns from how teams close incidents.
  • Canvas: live dashboards built from plain-language requests.
  • Single Sign-On: sign in through Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Auth0 or any OpenID Connect provider.

About ControlTheory

ControlTheory builds Dstl8, the runtime feedback loop for AI-speed engineering. Dstl8 distills runtime telemetry at the source and routes diagnoses with cited evidence back to the AI agents and engineers who ship the code, across Kubernetes, AWS, OpenTelemetry, Google Cloud, Vercel, Supabase, Railway and more.
